Transline's negotiations for the last several months with our Canadian supplier of 2x2 staple type “mylar” coin holders have been, well, unsuccessful in their effort to hold pricing on this product line. During that time we have exhausted our stock of several sizes of this popular product line, and now must replenish our inventories.
Transline’s supplier has increased prices on this product line between 8-10%. Officially, we are being told this price increase is due to the impact of a strong U.S. dollar on our Canadian factory's cost of sourcing the raw board and poly film from the United States, as well as higher labor costs. Or maybe they just decided they wanted to raise the price? Either way, it went up -- and by no small amount.
We are currently updating our online wholesale pricing, which will be available on the Transline website and effective today. We will continue to honor pricing for back orders that were placed before March 21, 2016.
