Dansco Coin Albums have been a longtime companion for both expert numismatists and beginning coin collectors. The Liberty Standing Quarters 1916-1930 Dansco Album comes in a 5/8" binder and holds up to 48 coins. The album has 2 Dansco pages (series: 7132-1 to 7132-2), each one holding and displaying all Liberty Standing quarters minted from 1916-1930. The 1916 quarters were designed by Hermon A. MacNeil. Controversy surrounding the Liberty's uncovered breast on the obverse forced MacNeil to modify his original design for the coins minted after 1917. Zyrus Press book Standing Liberty Quarters is a good source of reference for the series. Liberty Standing quarters are made of 90% silver and 10% copper. They measure 24.3 mm in diameter, and each weighs 6.25 grams. Liberty Standing quarters were coined at the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints. Dansco Coin Albums have their pages attached with metal screws, making it easy to add and replace.
