Lincoln Cents 1909-1958

Lincoln cents from 1909-1942 and 1944-1958 are made of 95% copper and 5% tin and zinc, are 19 mm in diameter and each weighs 3.11 grams. Lincoln cents minted in 1943 were made of steel, coated with zinc and some specimens were struck on bronze and silver, each weighing 2.70 grams.
